Applies engineering principles in Mechanical, Materials or Metallurgical engineering discipline.
Analysis of design and operating parameters, design and process diagrams/data, previous inspection and repair data to identify damage mechanisms in fixed equipment and piping circuits.
Performs calculations related to identifying damage mechanisms
Subject matter expert on damage mechanisms to inspection team leads Demonstrates a continuing consciousness of safety in daily activities and work performed.
Performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard engineering techniques for projects.
Visits job-sites to evaluate site, project requirements and conditions.
Interfaces with other disciplines and clients.
Works closely with inspection leads in the development inspection test plans for fixed equipment and piping circuit.
Meets company quality assurance requirements for personal work assignments.
Supports field assignments as required.
Qualifications
Must demonstrate experience with a PC and Microsoft Suite of Software.
Fluent in English language. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and colleagues.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Materials, Corrosion or Metallurgical Engineering
NACE/ API Certified Corrosion Engineers
Should have worked for Minimum 2-3 years of experience
